Terms and Conditions – Quick Mirror

Welcome to Quick Mirror. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Quick Mirror mobile application (“App”, “Service”) operated by J AND K WEB COLLECTIVE (PTY) LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Nature of the App

Quick Mirror is a personal mirror utility for Android devices. The App provides a front-camera mirror experience and related convenience features such as:

  • Mirror mode
  • Zoom controls
  • Brightness boost
  • Freeze frame functionality
  • Ad removal purchases

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Eligibility

By using the App, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal capacity to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy

3. Purchases and Advertisements

3.1 Advertisements

The free version of the App may display banner advertisements served through Google AdMob.

3.2 Remove Ads Purchase

The App may offer a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements.

  • Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing
  • Billing, refunds, cancellations, and restoration are governed by Google Play policies
  • We do not collect or store payment card information

3.3 Third-Party Services

Google services such as Google Play Billing and Google AdMob may process certain device or transaction-related information according to Google’s own privacy policies.

4. Camera and Device Access

The App requires camera access in order to function as a mirror.

If you deny required permissions, some or all App functionality may not work properly.

The App processes camera data locally on your device and does not upload your live camera feed to our servers.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the App
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App
  • Use the App in a way that violates any law or third-party rights
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or services connected to the App

You are responsible for:

  • Your device and device security
  • Your Google Play account
  • Your own use of the App

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its branding, design, software, functionality, and content, remain the property of J AND K WEB COLLECTIVE (PTY) LTD or its licensors.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal use in accordance with these Terms.

7. Service Availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time for maintenance, security, operational, legal, or performance-related reasons.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the App.

8. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The App will always be available
  • The App will always be free from defects or interruptions
  • The App will function on every Android device or Android version
  • The App will meet every user expectation or requirement

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, J AND K WEB COLLECTIVE (PTY) LTD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR RELATED PURCHASES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
